My name is Alfonso Varona. I am from the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua. Currently, I am working on a Ph.D in Spanish Literature, at the University of Connecticut. I work also as a Graduate Assistant and this semester I teach an undergraduate course in Mexican literature. My dissertation is on Mexican theatre written by women since the 1920's up to the present, with a focus on feminism.
